Project – Synopsis
The short film will be about the idea of the internet being
an escape for people when they feel like they are alone. People say that the
internet is like a friend when you have no one, however our film will show that
this is not the case. Our anonymous protagonist is very much alone and doesn’t
have any friends. This leads her to use the internet to so she can make friends
and not be alone anymore. However this doesn’t work for our protagonist no
matter what methods she tries. She starts making video blogs and puts them on
multiple internet social network sites to gain attention but this still does
not work. The protagonist falls into a depression and starts consuming large
amounts of alcohol and starts using drugs. Will our protagonist ever find
someone to save her from herself?
